Hi Spec Doorsets presented a local nursery with a laptop computer for their children to use

The children and Carers at Little Rascals Playgroup were struggling with a very old and out of date computer, which was used for teaching the children computer skills and literacy.  Hi Spec Doorsets kindly donated a laptop to the playgroup to aid the children’s experience and enable them to learn vital skills.  Hi Spec Doorsets employee Giverny Allen-Raftery has two young boys currently attending the nursery and understands the importance of the children having the best possible equipment to enhance their learning.

Technology can be a really useful tool to help children learn and I am delighted the children at Little Rascals Playgroup will benefit from this new laptop.”

Louise Davies, Play Leader at Little Rascals Playgroup in Abermule, was thrilled to receive the laptop:

Little Rascals would like to thank Hi Spec Doorsets for donating a laptop to our playgroup. It will be useful for the children to learn keyboard and mouse skills when using their computer programs like Simple City and painting programs, as well as now having the opportunity to use the internet and connect a printer. As a small committee-run playgroup, we really appreciate donations such as these to enhance the features of our setting and improve the children’s experiences and learning.”
